Lil Musial, the wife of the great Stan “The Man” Musial has died at age 91.  Lil and Stan were married nearly 72 years.  She first saw Stan pitch in a game at age 14 and was quoted in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch story as saying once, “Life is family. That’s what it’s all about.”  Stan once said, “It was inevitable we were going to see each other and be together.” 

Cardinal fans everywhere share in this loss, she being one of the biggest Cardinal fans of all.
